Adult Sunday School classes offer opportunities for adults to continue to grow in their faith and put that faith into action. Come join a class or visit each class before you decide which class best meets your spiritual and fellowship needs. We have six adult classes and are adding others. Sunday School meets from 9:45 - 10:45 on Sunday mornings.

  • Annie McLees Class: Ladies' class.  Uses Present Word literature. Meets in the "music wing" of the sanctuary building. Leader: Margie Cantley.
  • Explorer’s Bible Class: Open discussion on life’s challenges and how they relate to God and faith.  Meets in the Conference Room in the Centre. Teacher: Sherrill Newnam
  • Good News Class: Discussion format of a verse-by-verse Bible study. Meets in the Parlor. Teacher: Sherry Johnson
  • Headliners: Adults of all ages. A look at headlines and discussion of how Christians should  react. Meets in the Fellowship Hall. Teachers: Ed Dickson, Dwight Frierson
  • John Knox Class:  Lecture and discussion using David C. Cook curriculum. Meets in the classroom behind the stage in the Fellowship Hall. Teacher: John Shuler
  • Saltshakers Class:  Adults of all ages.  Bible-based lecture and discussion. Meets in the end room upstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Teachers: Phyllis Buie, Rebecca Battle-Bryant, Sylvia Trimmier
  • Eternal Exposure Class: For individuals 20s to 40s. A multi-media discussion-based class. Meets on the second floor of fellowship hall building.


There are also Bible study and faith-growing classes available during our regular Wednesday evening program titled Growing Through Fellowship (GTF).
