Domestic Missions

We believe that the message of God’s love is spread effectively when our actions meet our words.  One of the best ways to do that is by participating in short-term mission trips.  We have traveled to many places in the United States like Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida and have helped rebuild infrastructure or homes that have been destroyed, and participated in various other community building activities, while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

As of August 2010, an inter-denominational, inter-racial group of churches has formed a mission team to explore collectively reaching into the community.  As this group works, more information will come.  Currently they are focusing on developing relationships within the group and understanding the cultural dynamics that can hinder effective community mission.
