Music and Choir

First Presbyterian Church offers the opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy learning quality music and sharing this music during Sunday morning worship services and Wednesday night programs. The choir program begins at age three. If you would like to participate in one of these musical opportunities or have any questions, please call Sylvia Trimmier at 534-0088. Handbells. Handbell choirs are offered for both youth and adults. We have an adult handbell choir and a youth handbell choir. In addition to playing for church services and programs, the adult choir has performed for numerous community events.

Adult Choir. The Chancel Choir, sings for Sunday morning worship, and periodically performs major works, joining local college and church choirs for community concerts and events.

Montreat Music Camp. Each summer a large group of children, youth, and adult choir members enjoy attending the Music and Worship Conference at Montreat, North Carolina. This is a wonderful time of fellowship, learning, music, and recreation.
